About Us

The QueenBees Flag Football Inc. was founded in 2024 by Kenneth and Lateisha Hughes—both proud U.S. Navy veterans—with a vision to create a powerful platform for young women through the sport of flag football. Inspired by their daughter Kamryn’s passion for the game, the Hughes family transformed their personal love for mentorship, discipline, and service into a thriving nonprofit built to empower the next generation of female athletes.

More than just a team, The QueenBees is a movement—one rooted in leadership, sisterhood, and structure. As veterans, Kenneth and Lateisha found renewed purpose in guiding young women toward excellence on and off the field. Through structured practices, character-building workshops, mentorship, and national travel competitions, the QueenBees instill discipline, confidence, and a commitment to excellence in every athlete.

We don’t just develop players—we develop leaders. We don’t just teach the game—we teach life. Together, we are building a legacy of strong, confident, and unstoppable young women who embody what we proudly call Queen Behavior.
